Powerline Electrocutes Queensland Teen


Powerlines are extremely dangerous to be around. It doesn’t even need direct contact as electricity can jump through gaps and transfer on to a conductor. These are reminders that Safety Solutions would like to reiterate to PCBUs working on any job site.

This article focuses on the untimely death of a young man who died of electrocution from in Queensland. It happened when an irrigation he was carrying made contact with an overhead powerline.

“They should ensure that all workers and other people on their property also know where the powerlines are. All workers must be trained to carry out activities around powerlines safely,” reads this Safety Solutions article.
